Wal-Mart, SI Swimsuit Edition and an embarrassing, disgusting situation

Are you dumbed down? Does pornography not victimize? Is pornography not addictive?    Is the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit not pornography? I know it’s  not politically correct to say that pornography is lust producing and that lust is sin and that thinking lustful thoughts is contrary to God’s law. Lust is called adultery by Jesus Christ. [Matthew 5:28]   What a privilege to be able to speak truth and this is truth! The warning goes out again today! This is a ministry that works to alert Christians to “not place wicked things before their eyes.â€Â  [Psalm 101:3a]. We passionately encourage Christians to “pursue holiness without which no man shall see the Lord." [Hebrews 12:14]. We call non-Christians to turn to the Lord while He may be found. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.â€ÂÂ [Romans 6:23] In addition, we encourage corporations not to market pornography, obscenity and indecency!  There are many who understand the addictive, degrading, destructive damage done by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Some have loved ones trapped in pornography and who also are involved in bizarre, self-destructive behaviors (and behaviors that destroy their loved ones.) The news account below details just one of the sorrowful, disgusting results of being caught in a pornography/lust addiction.    Quoting: DECEMBER 1–The Florida man arrested after he was caught masturbating in the toy aisle of a Walmart with the aid of a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue has cut a plea deal that bars him from future visits to the retail giant “or any store where children’s toys are sold,â€Â court records show. As part of a plea deal to indecent exposure and battery charges, William Tyler Black was sentenced to two years of community control, a more severe version of probation that often includes a curfew. Black, 28, will also be subjected to GPS monitoring, according to a Sarasota Circuit Court document that stipulates “no contact w/ Walmart.â€Â The deal spares Black, who spent a month in custody following his September 14 arrest, further jail time. The conviction, though, will likely have a negative impact on Black’s career as a substitute teacher. Black is pictured in the above mug shot. When confronted by cops, Black admitted that he had been masturbating in the store’s toy aisle, claiming that he was driven to the lewd act after he spotted “some pretty girls which made him aroused.â€Â He told officers that he “grabbed a magazine and then found a back aisle and began to masturbate until he relieved himself on the floor,â€Â according to a probable cause affidavit.  The magazine he selected was the 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue featuring model Brooklyn Decker on its cover. A Walmart worker told investigators that Black “ejaculated onto the floor and wiped his hand on a toy along with rubbing his foot in the suspected semen on the floor.â€Â He then “discarded the magazine behind some toys and proceeded to the front of the store,â€Â employees reported. The defiled toy was a lightsaber (apparently of the "Star Wars" variety), according to a law enforcement source. Though Black–who claimed he was shopping for a toy for his daughter–assured arresting officers that, “I swear I’m not a pervert,â€Â and offered to clean up his mess, he was nonetheless charged with a felony and a misdemeanor. One charge, battery on a child, was filed since a “reasonable person would believe that a child would come in contact with the fluid on the toy being that it was left in the toy aisle of the store.â€Â http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/bizarre/walmart-pleasure-seeker-barred-retail-giant Action: Several years ago Wal-Mart removed the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit from their entrance ways under public pressure (ADA had significant involvement with that “behind the scenesâ€Â). They placed the SI Swimsuit Edition back in the magazine racks.  Expressions of concern at the local level can impact them not to carry the magazine at all.   Sports Illustrated Swimsuit IS pornographic. It is published to elicit sexual response. Wal-Mart recently made news for a 28 year old who masturbated to a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and then wiped himself off on a toy. Several years ago Wal-Mart did the right thing in removing SI Swimsuit Edition from its entrance ways and placed it back in the magazine rack. Some of your stores don’t carry SI Swimsuit for the obvious reasons: pornography is degrading to women. I urge you to establish a storewide policy and simply not sell SI Swimsuit Edition and SI Swimsuit Edition calendars.
