Mattel has been synonymous with the wholesomeness of childhood for a long time. So it both saddens and angers me that you would use a child’s toy to push the LGBTQ ideology on children through your #LOVE WINS Barbie, while purposefully overlooking the many dangers and diseases directly linked to the LGBTQ lifestyle. This shows a lack of concern for the health and well being of the children you influence.

You call it celebrating “diversity, kindness and acceptance,” but it’s NOT kindness to promote a lifestyle without warning of the inherent and proven risks associated with it. Do you understand what you are encouraging? Are you aware that 46% of lesbian women, 61% of bisexual women, compared to only 35% of heterosexual women experience rape, physical violence, and /or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime? Did you know that, according to The Gay & Lesbian Medical Association, lesbians have an “increased risk for breast cancer, depression/anxiety, heart health, gynecological cancer, poor fitness, high levels of alcohol and tobacco use, and STDs”?

As a potential customer, I won’t use my consumer dollars (at Christmas or any other time) to support a company that endorses and encourages a lifestyle that is proven harmful, damaging society as a whole as well as the individual. I urge you to either withdraw your #LOVE WINS campaign or to plainly tell the truth about this lifestyle and the dangers which accompany it.
