To Whom It May Concern:
As Christians, we know in our hearts, souls, and minds that Christ is the Creator God as communicated in God's Holy Word, the Bible.
Though we believe in the importance of talking with others about their religion, it is not pleasing to God and the Lord Jesus Christ to deviate from what we know is true - that Jesus is fully God and fully man and that He came to set the captive free from the bondage of sin.
Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Him.
We hold to that reality, because it is the Gospel – the essence of our faith.
If there is going to be an institute like the Kaufman Interfaith Institute, I would like to believe that it is at least giving Christians the opportunity to be heard and that there be a strong Christian representative who comes not as one who is willing to compromise the basic tenants of our faith, but rather a solid proponent and defender of the whole counsel of God.
