I'm writing regarding Nike’s transgender ad, which aired during Olympic coverage. Your ad was designed to sell – and it wasn’t just shoes. This was an attempt to foist your ideology regarding gender and sexuality on unsuspecting families as they tuned in to watch a family sporting event.
Nike praised Chris Mosier for the “unlimited courage” to deny her gender and live as a man, but you don’t offer the same courtesy to Christians who stand up for their beliefs.
There are millions of potential customers, like me, who recognize that one’s gender is a gift from our Creator – one that cannot be changed. While you may personally disagree with me on that fact, I humbly suggest that you stick to selling shoes, and not use your company to push an agenda.
