The recent controversy with Michigan State University Professor Danny Guthrie comes to my attention in the midst of several other sex scandals involving universities, most notably the Sandusky case at Penn State and Bernie Fine of Syracuse.
It is frightening to think that those of you in higher education are so adrift morally and spiritually that you don’t seem to understand! Calling something "art" is not an excuse for sexual misconduct.
This kind of “instruction” by Danny Guthrie and the “public relations” response coming out of Michigan State University significantly diminishes my view of what MSU considers legitimate instruction.
What disciplinary measures will be taken to insure that this practice is immediately halted? What policies will Michigan State University be instituting to see that professors are not using pornography and nudity with their students?
I eagerly await your response to my concerns.
