The following article brings joy to my heart, however, I am under no illusions. Playboy has destroyed countless numbers of lives and every time it is published or broadcast in one form or another people are degraded and, yes, sometimes destroyed.

My friend Dr. Judith Reisman states the case against Playboy better than anyone I know. One mechanism that she has used so very well is her book: "Soft Porn Plays Hardball"
[Its Tragic Effects on Women, Children and the Family]

Here's but one example of her insightful description of the destructive nature of Playboy:

"Most people identify 'fun sex' with Playboy's approach to women as 'bunnies' -- or sex toys to play with. What most people, including most Playboy consumers do not recognize is the darker side to Playboy's humor. It's highly orchestrated and heavily promoted sexual assault on 'the girl next door' has been thoroughly docmumented. Standard fare are jokes about gang rape; and, jokes about the rape of coeds, girlfriends, unconscious patients, students, secretaries, maids, neighbors, and children. Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner bragged about eradicating the diligently erected Judeo-Christian barrier that once helped to protect 'good girls' (the Madonna) from being viewed as 'bad girls' (the whore) ....

"The 'nice girls like sex' message has also helped change 'nice boys'... (even the view of rape as 'rough sex')."

May it be that we will yet see the total collapse of the Playboy empire and all of its affiliates. This is good news below. However, Satan will not ultimately be defeated until Christ comes again.

Nonetheless, be encouraged by this piece of good news.

"Playboy Enterprises Inc. posted a steep quarterly loss Wednesday due to a $157 million charge, which primarily reflects the tumbling value of its television assets.

The results came amid a wrenching transition for the adult-entertainment company, which is slashing costs and overhauling its operations to cope with both an advertising downturn and the erosion of an audience that now has a wider choice of adult media.

Playboy reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $146 million, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.1 million. Revenue for the period fell 19 percent to $70 million. ..."
