I was asked on an MSNBC news show interview shortly after the Janet Jackson Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction” whether I thought the FCC should involve itself more aggressively in enforcing the FCC standards for indecency.
My concern then is the same as now. In our local communities the police prevent our communities from becoming lawless. Without their intervention, basic patterns of human civility would be tossed out the window.

Our take action links to email Lowe’s over their advertising practices has generated some of the greatest response we have yet seen with our action email feature. Lowe’s had advertised on ABC’s new programs: “The Gates” and “Scoundrels.” Both of these programs feature lascivious sex scenes and normalization of the occult and crime.
As Lowe’s began to receive our expressions of concern regarding advertising on those particular shows, they sent an email response to us directly that startled us. (Continue Reading…)
