The raunchy new sitcom, “Are You There, Chelsea” aired again Wednesday evening at 8:30 pm – filling the half hour with an endless stream of vulgar sex jokes, crude dialog, and the promotion of heavy and irresponsible drinking.
NBC, the network which airs “Are You There, Chelsea?” (originally titled “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea”), euphemistically describes the lead character Chelsea as a “sexually dynamic ‘advanced drinker’.” One TV reviewer more accurately described her this way – a “slutty, boozy bartender.”
