Years come and go. We meet a lot of people. We meet a few individuals along the way that particularly impact – even influence us in significant ways.
Donald E. Wildmon, from my perspective, is the leading cultural warrior in America. Some of you know that Don was almost taken out of this world nearly two years ago. However, characteristic of Don, he did not give up nor give in. Don’s voice is as needed today as ever before. We are blessed that he accepted our invitation and will be our featured speaker at ADA’s July 27 summer event.

Somewhere in the bush of the Democratic Republic of Congo hides a man who for 20 years has led a movement guilty of mass murders, rapes, mutilations, and abductions throughout Uganda and its surrounding nations. In just the past 18 months, this movement is responsible for the killing of more than 2,400 people and 3,400 abductions.
The modus operandi of these killers is to move into a town and kidnap the children – the girls are taken as sex slaves and the boys become soldiers who will simply continue the cycle of horrendous violence. The news media and liberal politicians are tripping over themselves to provide positive coverage of the Occupy Wall Street protest that has spread to many of the large cities around the country. These protests have been characterized by groups of people taking up residence in city parks near the financial districts to protest “the 1%,” the wealthiest Americans who allegedly make a quarter of the nation’s earnings.
Many have posted their stories on the blog wearethe99percent.tumblr.com/ – some are legitimately pitiable and many are laughably immature, but the one thing that unites them, as occupywallst.org lays it out, is that they will “no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%.”
