I just finished a letter I wrote today to the Walmart manager where I shop regularly to express my concerns about the Sports Illustrated magazine being put at the checkout lanes in his store – at the eye level of an elementary school age child. Placing blinders over Cosmopolitan.
A leading department store chain in the mid-west, Meijer, Inc., based in Grand Rapids, MI has been making good strides in placing blinders over Cosmopolitan magazine.
A recent survey of several stores in the greater Grand Rapid, MI area revealed that various Meijer outlets are placing blinders over Cosmopolitan magazine.

Massachusetts Senator-elect Scott Brown says he has “no regrets” about posing nude for a 1982 Cosmopolitan magazine photo spread. In an exclusive ABC “This Week” interview (January 31), Brown told Barbara Walters “you have to have a sense of humor about yourself,” and links the centerfold to many of his successes that came later in life. “If I hadn’t done that… I never would have been sitting here with you. It’s all connected,” Brown told Walters.
