Life is precious.  We just celebrated our three year old grandson’s birthday yesterday. What  innocence! His sweet view of life as he enjoys watching the birds, walking through the woods, playing by himself with his trucks and cars and barn and farm animals is a precious part of his young life and a healthy development.

There are many profiteers who don’t give a rip about innocence, purity, wholesomeness, modesty, decency or children.   Their greatest concern is marketing and making money- seemingly no matter what it takes, even if it means playing with the moral sensibilities of young children even little girls.  Get them to think about sexual things early and to be concerned about their body, ie.. breast size and you can hook them early and teach them to be good little consumers.

Abercrombie & Fitch specializes in degrading childhood, desensitizing them, and drawing them into perversity.

Victoria’s Secret. Many don’t appreciate you. Here is another.

Many are desensitized or just tired of being against instead of for something. Meanwhile sex entrepreneur corps like Victoria’s Secret just continue to push and shove and foist eroticism day in and day out – meanwhile turning a deaf ear to those faithful voices speaking for youth and decency.

Here is another voice of caring and opposition to VS insensitive profiteering.

Indecency at the checkout counter: Cosmo March 2011

Opposing sexualized magazines at the checkout counter is one of the battles this ministry has taken on over the years.  As we’ve often said, we and our families should be able to wait in a checkout lane at a family supermarket without being assaulted with erotic images and verbiage on magazine covers.

Of course the worst offender is Cosmopolitan magazine.  Cosmo is notorious for splashing lewd headlines and photos on their magazine covers.  The current magazine has titles such as:
