An ar
ticle from the Detroit Free Press last week focused upon the issue of pornography in county jails. Wayne County (Detroit) and two adjoining counties, Oakland and Macomb, do not allow pornography in their facilities, which we assert is a reasonable and wise policy.
However, a disgruntled soul who already has a storied past wants to reverse this ban and calls out to of all people – a lawyer for the ACLU.
Surprised? Yeah right.

Sex shops are breeding grounds for sexually transmitted diseases, adultery, lewdness, lust, addiction, degradation, prostitution, womanizing, drug addiction, alcoholism ….
Some newspapers allow sex shops to advertise. Even fewer allow a sex shop to place a sizable ad leaving virtually no room for imagination as to what is being advertised.
Case in point:
Our office received an ad received from a concerned citizen from the greater Detroit area. The ad measures 9 x 12 inches with the headline verbiage reading “Naughty Time Novelty”.
