Athletic performance, condoms and eternity

Apparently, the International Olympic Committee expected the athletes in the Olympic Village to give their best performance in more than just their sports. The IOC oversaw the distribution of over 100,000 condoms at the 2010 Winter Olympics this past month.
In fact, the Olympic Games have given out condoms since 1992. During the summer games in Sydney, the original order of 70,000 ran out and 20,000 more had to be rushed in. At the next games, in Athens, 130,000 were distributed. Beijing handed out 100,000. (Continue Reading…)
