A couple of years ago I left the church where I had been a member for a number of years because I saw a denomination that was turning its back upon the Bible.
When we permit the Bible to say whatever we want it to say and obey it only when it’s convenient, we open ourselves (our individual lives, families, communities, schools, nation) to sins of all kinds. Perversions like adultery, homosexuality, same-sex marriage, child pornography, obscenity.

I wrote last week about some of the social arguments against “non-discrimination” laws. But there are not only many legal arguments against pushing homosexuality onto our culture, but there are perhaps even more medical reasons against the gay lifestyle.
Why would a government which claims to seek to “save lives and protect people” through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) want to encourage behavior which keeps a deadly disease like HIV thriving? (Continue Reading…)
