Abercrombie & Fitch:
On June 18, we reported that Abercrombie & Fitch had announced a return to publishing their pornographic catalog.
A&F under great pressure from many ministries in 2002-2003 discontinued the production and distribution of their pornographic catalog. So it was with great concern that we reported finding A&F back in the pornographic catalog business.
In June we wrote: “…With great sadness we once again enter into this fray. As many of you were aware, we never saw any real evidence that A&F had changed at the management level. We had kept a close watch on their wall and window displays during the interval between 2003 through June 2010. …”
Earlier this month I saw no evidence of the catalog in the store that I visited. Also, I saw no evidence of it being marketed on their webpage today.

We received the following email over the weekend.
I will join you in this boycott!
Today I took my 10 and 13 year old daughters to the mall. We went into Abercrombie and Finch to purchase a couple shirts. I almost passed out when I saw the porn by the checkout counter. When I spoke to the manager, who isn’t married and doesn’t have children yet, he claimed it didn’t offend him. I told him I will talk to him in ten years when he has a child of his own! They are selling sex, and I cannot support a company who is so blatantly immoral. Thank you for this wonderful website.

As we reported in recent weeks, Abercrombie & Fitch is back in the business of using porn to promote their name and their product.
We have reported on their recent release of their return to a pornographic
Quarterly. We reported that it was “unadulterated desperation.”
Some of their nasty posters are back up on the walls as well.
