Personal year end note:
A couple of weeks ago we caught a vision for how we could finish the year really well: it would be a night of giving – of hosting a wonderful evening of love and joy to whomever the Lord would bring.
And in this particular New Year’s evening we would be able to entertain – yes – but far more we would be able to bless people with a beautiful message of love, grace and mercy even laced with some humor amidst some serious stuff as well.

Personal note:
We are acknowledging, just like most if not all Christian ministries, a significant financial shortfall. Gary Bauer’s email alert (Campaign for Working Families) is indicating that Christian ministries are noting about a 30% fall off in giving at this date.
Our giving shortfall would be similar. We are stretched and stressed at varieties of levels yet the call goes out to “preach the word – in season out of seaon”. We have a tool to do just that at such a time as this.
